Summary: All great. Just be prepared that its a large hotel >350 rooms and that it's built on a cliff. I had to climb some 80 stairs from the room or pool to the reception.

Summary: My check-in experience was extremely disappointing. I was initially allocated a room right next to a construction site, which was unacceptable given the nightly rate. After raising the issue, I had to wait one and a half hours to be moved to another room, and even then, the new room did not offer a satisfactory view. To add to the frustration, the coffee machine in the replacement room was broken. I waited over an hour for it to be replaced. While the staff attempted to make amends by offering a bottle of champagne, I don’t drink champagne, so the gesture didn’t feel particularly thoughtful. As a solo traveler paying close to $750 AUD per night, I expected a far higher standard of quality and attention to detail. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet those expectations, and it’s not a property I would recommend. That said, I did genuinely enjoy the service at the lounge, which was consistently pleasant and one of the highlights of my stay. Overall, despite a few positive aspects, I would not choose to return.

Summary: This place is a complete joke. First off, it’s a 3 star hotel unless you pay for the 1/2 bedroom suites which are located in a different exclusive area. The pictures you see of the resort (infinity pool) are for the exclusive area only. About 80% of rooms are not in this exclusive area. I’m all about investing but we didn’t need a 1/2 bedroom suite but thought we were getting something different. They insisted on up charging me just so I could get access to the better pool area. The resort is very dated. Towels were all tattered, public bathrooms were not clean. We stayed in 5 stars throughout Thailand and this was a big disappointment for our last stop. Won’t be booking with Amari ever again.
